Epona's Artist and Designer- Lyndsey Warren

I was interested in running a small business where I could combine all three of the things I love most in life, Art, Design, and of course, Horses! I am at a point in my life right now where I want to make changes in my career path and pursue the things that truly make me happy. Epona's Web is my new journey in life and I looking forward to see where it takes me!

My educational background includes a BFA cum laude from the Hartford Art School with a Major in Illustration and Commercial Art. I also have a minor in photography and I studied art history throughout the four years I went to the Hartford Art School. It was at college that I discovered how important of a tool the computer was becoming in the art world!

I obtained my Masters magnum cum laude at the Maryland Institute College of art and it was there that I was introduced to Plein Aire Landscape painting as well as ceramics, and to teaching! Teaching gave me a voice, the courage and power to use that voice, and solid communication skills to assist in working with my clients.

During my journey through graduate school I also pursued the idea of my art studio, Shadow Horse Studios! It has been a long hard journey from being a starving artist to being an artist with a career objective and the strong desire to take that objective somewhere! I currently run Shadow Horse Studios to promote, sell, and show my art and merchandise both nationally and internationally.

Truthfully, I wasn't interested in web design until I was searching for a web designer to create my own studio site. I was very unhappy with what I was finding and nothing the designers were offering was satisfying me. So I set about on my own path to learn web design! After a few classes and lots of practicing I was hooked! I already had a background using Adobe products for illustration and graphic design, so learning Dreamweaver, Flash, and coding languages was a cinch!

I have loved horses my entire life and it only seems natural for me to want to pursue a career that will include them in what I do. I have ridden and shown my entire life so I bring a knowledge and understanding of the equine world to my art and design! Though my personal riding goals focus on the hunters and jumpers I have trained and I have knowledge in dressage and eventing! I understand the demands of the equestrian market and I hope to meet my clients' needs with top quality web design, graphic design, and fine art.

My goals for Epona's Web is to offer affordable web and graphic design for the equestrian market. I do cater to the NOVA area but I will work outside as well as outside the equestrian market. I hope to see Epona's Web grow and expand and look forward to offering opportunities to freelance programmers as well as internship opportunities for college students!

I enjoy my free time riding and training my horses and I am looking forward to starting my young horse in the show ring this spring! I also look forward to meeting and working for other local equestrians!

The Site Proof Reader, Networker, and Huge Helper- Kevin Szczesniewski

Kevin knows his way around computers, inside and out. Kevin is responsible for keeping the computers here at Epona's Web in tip top shape and up-to-date. Kevin helps maintain sites, proofs text, coding, and is a huge help when things go wrong! He can figure out where the bugs are and fix them quickly.

Kevin served in the Airforce where he pursued a career in computer networking. Currently he is working as a private contractor within the computer field! Kevin also enjoys his free time riding his horse KC down at Aldie Virginia. Though currently he rides for pleasure he is hoping to take some more lessons and attend a few local schooling shows!
